The New Moon Smudge

hey all, Thanks for finding me here.

I've selected a lunar cycle to mark my new practice of 'smudging' or 'banning evil spirits'. I've just created this practice for myself, and I can't wait to try it out.

I've written a 'prayer' (HA!) I've written a mantra, I guess, to accompany this new practice of the 'new moon smudge'

here it is:

I WILL CONTINUE TO BE RESILIENT, EMBRACE CHANGE, PURSUE CHALLENGE
AND ATTAIN EXCELLENCE IN CHILL
I'M THANKFUL FOR LESSONS
LOVE LIFE
LIVE LOUD


That's all.

This is totally NOT an agenda I would push on anyone, in fact, its kind of better that its just a personal thing I thought would help me, not in a sense of 'magical thinking', which I dislike intensely (!) but in the grand tradition of positive, realistic thought

So, in practice, I may eventually find that the most important aspect of this physically, is cleaning out the deep freeze, literally, the freezer needs to be inspected and things have sat in there for freaking months, between me and Dave, we don't know which items belong to who, and that needs sorted, at least every couple of weeks

It's practical!

Is it a coincidence that I created this practice on Valentine's Day, when others might be snuggling their honeys? No comment!
