The Bend shows included the driving, road trip, Teren brought out a bunch of regulars from The Pint Pot, we got a BnB, it was great.
We did drive through a lot of smoke from the Terwiliger fire on the way.

But I didn't work through the week, and  now I'm back at Garden Place. (le sigh).

My brother is firmly entrenched up in Portland now, and I'll have to relieve him of 'dad duty' when I am able to, I get sick of the drive, and the undue anxiety it causes for my dog. But I'm happy to help.

I got a message from a friend in Portland, an old family friend, the two families used to go camping together frequently.  He says he has heard his family's rumor that he is my half brother, that my Catholic Dad had an affair with his Mormon mom.  The math adds up for the time frame, and obviously the lack of birth control.  Michael thinks he and his brother Matthew are both biological sons of my dad. hmm.  I haven't 'confronted' my Dad about it yet, as I feel he's already got enough to deal with, being in the wheelchair, now an amputee, and all.  But I've discussed it with my siblings.  Paula has doubts, but then during dinner the other night, she asked loudly, "Brian have you heard from Michael K.... lately?" and my Dad seemed to react in a strange manner.

I had a double practice last night, with the Indiscretions and Davy Jones' Locker Combo.

LE PETIT MORT - D.U.I.I.

I saw Black Klansman.  It was pretty great, one of Spike's best ever.

I watched Matt Groening's DISENCHANTMENT animated series.  I liked the pace, not too frenetic.  Billy West is a favorite voice actor of mine, having done some great cartoons like PINKY AND THE BRAIN and REN & STIMPY.  Eric Andre is in it, as a diminutive demon.  The series mostly borrows from FUTURAMA, and especially the Futurama feature length episode called BENDER'S GAME, which goofed on the Dungeons and Dragons crowd, and the fantasy/adventure realm.

I'm doing an 'after-party' for the Flogging Molly/Dropkick Murphys concert at the Cuthbert Theater.  This party will feature Pirate Radio and DJ Ian Lawless, and take place at Doc's Pad.  I've created the party as a ROCK AGAINST RACISM event.

HERE'S a crappy old demo for a song called FOUR KINGS, the lyrics were written by Saad Rehman.

Thanks for reading.
