Aug. 20th, 2018 08:41 pmi'm in Portland again. My brother is running down to Berkeley to pick up some of his furniture, so I'm here helping to take care of my Dad until Tim gets back.
My father is back in his home, using a wheelchair. the bathroom was re-done, with some adaptive features.
My father and I had prime rib dinner at the Bullseye Pub near his home. He and I have often had a bit of a rocky relationship, and we are pretty close, but that is not necessarily by my choice. Let's say i'm a reluctant angel. The primary care my dad requires is around cooking, transport and not wiping his butt, but pulling his pants up after he uses the restroom. ugh. Like I said, not a super big fan, even during the best of times, and then....
I get a message that I may have two half-brothers. while my sister doubts it, the math is definitely on-time for when they were conceived.
