CAUTION! Gruesome images! (but come on, it's me! what'd you expect?)

"Father" Larry Wessel first gained some notoriety in the underground 'slasher' film genre in the 80'S. I first met him when he was showing some low budget artsy slasher films at Club Lhasa in the very early 80's. He had offered to cast me in an 'art film' which would've included lots of nudity, and possibly a sex scene! But I never went through with it.
Larry has also done some music projects, most of which are prankish or 'art damage' in nature. Once of which was a widely publicized party at his house in Hermosa Beach, to feature his band 'WORD' (this was 1985 or so) There was tons of beer and food, but Larry waited until the tension was very high, then he exited his shower (fresh, right?) butt nekkid during the 'opening number' and with only strobe light to see by, the amassed crowd watched as he wiped his ass with an american flag. Most of the band's equipment belonged to Larry's brother Garth, and much of it was smashed to bits during the performance.
anyway, this looks like a great film about a great artist, who I'd previously never heard of! Beth Moore-Love, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
