I <3 NY ?

stayed at Manhattan Times Square with JP and Santina while Nuxie was in California.

wed - arrived @ JFK 6:30 am, Breakfast at Europa Cafe, walked around Central Park & Rockefeller Center, dinner at Ukrainian Family Restaurant, in the East VIllage. Pierogies!

thurs - Swam @ hotel pool, watched The Green Hornet, read BOSSYPANTS by Tina Fey

friday - Rode the subway to Battery Park, boat to Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Dinner @ Gaetana'a (Italian), Dad's play RICKHARDT (Greenwich Village) subway back to hotel. slept like a gin soaked, jet-lagged log.

saturday - workout, Pool dip, took subway to the Cloisters Museum, viewed the tapestries, hung out at Fort Tryon park between the Bronx and Harlem, next to the Hudson.



Sunday - limo ride to Grandma Gladys' headstone unveiling in NJ, port authority bus back to NYC, Dinner at Mickey Mantle's across from Central Park.

Monday - Dinner in Little Italy, Cannoli for dessert, Arnie tried to get everyone to eat rice pudding...

Tuesday - Went to Letterman show taping with my brother Tim then took Santina to see WICKED.

Wednesday - Rented a tandem and rode with Santina, thru Central Park to west side highway, to the Intrepid Military Museum, Chelsea Piers, viewed the high line (but souldn't get up on it with a tandem bicycle. Dinner @ Tony di Napoli's.

Thursday - back to Portland...
