I'm finally back to Shotokan, though my shoulder is still recuperating. Now my 3 yr old daughter has 'officially' joined the club. Looks like Sensei is not in a hurry to get shirts printed, so I may have to get that going with the Secret Hippie.
I bought a solid state amp, due to reliability and portability issues with my Fender Dual Showman Reverb.
I feel like I've betrayed an old friend. You see, the FDSR (pictured below, no mine isn't that lovely) needs FILTER CAPACITORS. they're not real expensive, but its kins of a major operation to get them in there, and well- this amp is my baby but its always been a little mushy due to this issue and its getting worse. I'm returning the solid state amp, of course, it just doesn't cut the mustard. I've got 2 AMAZING amps, both need a LOT of TLC, the other is a AMPEG Gemini VI with a blown transformer.....
