glad I'm a Buddhist

fredxmertzBuddhism does not dictate 'belief in a god', but that everyone HAS their own Buddha nature within. This movie was hilarious and scary. the Christians AND the Muslims can really scare the HELL out of you.
Buddhism is very scientific and encourages you to doubt, to study, to compare and draw your own conclusions. at least SGI Buddhism does.... some of the other 'branches' talk about acheiving enlightenment, and some even believe that females cannot be enlightened, I believe that is total BS. but I'm also not PURSUING enlightenment, I just chant for happiness, for PEACE, for tolerance and for science and sanity.
Not a Bill Maher fan btw, but this was an entertaining and though provoking film.
ew, what did I step in? pls do NOT discuss further, just go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts....
