I went to adam’s house for the first & only time ever with jim shank. Jim and adam were gona eat acid while we played music. It started off ok. Adam’s parents were gone. I hadn’t brought a guitar so I played a bass that was there at adam’s house. Jim played guitar and adam’s drum kit had a pink floyd logo on the front of it, which for some reason I thought was the symbol for alcoholics anonymous.

Adam's parents were out, but his little brother was there and when we went into the bathroom to smoke some pot, Adam's little brother knew exactly what was going on.

"You're not sposed to smoke!" the kid screamed. and I thought the kid was pretty smart.

Adam had run away from home and wound up with the punk rock gang, Circle One (named after a 'brand' of blotter paper LSD). Adam's extended family was built around drugs use.

Adam eventually turned up in san diego, getting arrested for arson. The story goes that he had torn the paintings off the wall under the impression that if he burned the paintings and inhaled the flames he would get high….
