Happy Solstice

Hello All
Welcome
I hope this season is seeing you thriving, happy, joyful and free.
I had a peanut butter and honey with fresh(ish) blueberries for dinner.
I have rented a room in Eugene. a few blocks from the broom shop. I walked over there during this Ice Storm, in order to turn on the taps, to a light dribble, as a way to protect the pipes from freezing.
But just the 5 blocks, walking on ice the whole time, I was worried I would fall and bust my fanny. So, I dropped off one tiny bag of clothes, and I realized pretty quick that there needs to be a lamp in the new room, with a switch close to the door, because it appears the only built-in light is a 'pull-string' number, and it looks like the pull-string chain doesn't work.... but also, there was no light bulb there,
so...
I'll have a lot of work to make it comfortable but I'm hopeful and confident.
I got myself a Gretsch 5410 guitar (pictures soon)
I sold some brooms on consignment at a bakery up in Oakridge.
I may have some opportunities to run a booth for Scheumack Broom Company in Spring and Summer, at 'Art in the Pearl' in July in Portland, OR, and 'Cherry Creek Art Festival' in Denver. But we won't be at Oregon Country Fair, which is kind of a bummer. I think they will want the broom shop back, but they've already 'suspended' the shop until we come in compliance with their craft committee.
This could be one of those situations where one door closes and another opens.
I am crazy about holiday music, when they are mostly parodies and goofy stuff. The traditional stuff kind of gets on my nerves, but I enjoy internet radio station 'Xmas in Frisko', its mostly parodies and crude humor.
I hope you have a great solstice celebration, whatever that looks like for you!
