Hey everybody out there in blogland, it's me

Its Monday, I worked a swing shift at Garden Place today, and passed medications, things were pretty quiet.  The program there is changing from a Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) with locked doors, into a homeless medical respite facility, with unlocked doors.  So, there are elements of the program I will miss, but I'll be working there less and less, I'm sure.
The medical staff were all summarily fired, then some re-hired, then the rest were re-hired.  The RN gave notice, and she was kind and gracious in saying goodbye to me, and to Naomi.  Luckily, Nadina will remain.  She has really been a shining light in that place, Nadina works well with the clients, and she is very genuine and sweet, not condescending  or power-mad.
Most of my homies from Garden Place have already left, a few of them went to Lane County Behavioral Health, and some to White Bird clinic.

This is kind of a self-promoting post, what with my various music performances coming up.

September 21, after the Flogging Molly / Dropkick Murphys concert at Cuthbert Ampitheater, I’m throwing a party to benefit Southern Poverty Law Center, with Live music by Pirate Radio and DJ Ian Lawless will spin soul, ska and punk! I hope you can join us & support this great cause.

The Indiscretions will play at Blairally barcade November 3rd.  This gig will feature female vocalists for each band, The Indiscretions, Beast of Eden and Sacred Trees.

Pirate Radio is bringing THE SLACKERS NYC to Eugene on December 11th, appearing at (your guessed it!) Old Nick's Pub.

I may as well throw in my two cents on the State of the Nation, ....nah.
I guess I would say that I'm trying to find good things happening, and though usually any lawsuit is bad news, but i  was happy to see that
Greg Palast and Jesse Jackson are suing Kris Kobach, Trump's voter caging stooge, who wanted to add a citizenship question to the census.

Thanks for reading!
