I came home at lunch with STORM WARNING by Lynn Tait cranked on my truck stereo. grabbed my Lee Oskar G minor harp and my banjo, and figured out this little tune as accompanying myself. Jazzy ska. You might know it as MISTER BONGO SONG from Jump with Joey. Theres a live version by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra on my VHS video of their world tour,.. they're somewhere in a village in Singapore, and the kids are tripping hard on "Cleanhead" Gimura, a clone of MING THE MERCILESS from Flash Gordon, After checking for more info Cleanhead, I was startled to learn he died way back in 1995 of brain cancer, CRAP! That sucks! I miss you, konnichiwa Gimura

work is insanely busy. I exceeded the closing goal set for me by the department. I was filling out my time card for the week and peeked at my 'compensation history' and noticed that I had been awarded a merit increase 4/17 but no one bothered to tell me... that means I have a performance review that is overdue, at the very least, they should be telling me that my attendance really sucks.
I've reached the minimum fundraising for AIDS/LIFECYCLE, and I'm getting pretty amped for the ride the first week in June. I had THREE, count em 3 flat tires on Saturday. Did about 75 miles with Dr. Ake, including Wolf Creek Rd, a BITCH of a hill...
