I've been consulting the ancient Chinese I Ching oracle since I was like 12 years old. Almost always with pretty astonishing results, even when in the presence of others.
Lately, I had been getting the response "Critical Mass". At least three times in January, IIRC. Finally, I got a reading of "Gradual Progress"! and again, it feels like the oracle is speaking directly to me.... the 'changing lines' indicate an even more specific reading, in both cases, they pointed to 'wild geese'
A tree is not a suitable place for a wild goose. But if it is clever, it will find a flat branch on which it can get a footing. A man's life too, in the course of its development, often brings him into inappropriate situations, in which he finds it difficult to hold his own without danger. Then it is important to be sensible and yielding. This enables him to discover a safe place in which life can go on, although he may be surrounded by danger.
hexagram 53 is sometimes called Gradual Progress , 'Development' or 'Steady Pace'
The Transformed Hexagram has been 'Grace' on my last two readings.
22 - Twenty-Two
Fire illuminates the base of the Mountain:
The Superior Person realizes he has not the wisdom to move the course of the world, except by attending to each day's affairs as they come.
Success in small matters.
This is a good time to begin something.
The environment around you is not one of depth, and you are appreciated now for your image, not your essence.
You perfectly fill a role, and no one is seeing the genuine you.
Still, you are being listened to and watched.
Use this influence to further your goals as much as possible.
Even if you don't feel understood, you can perhaps connect with a few isolated hearts.

53: A Steady Pace
Like an ancient forest — things of lasting value develop gradually, at their own pace. The ability to learn from experience — one of humanity’s greatest treasures — implies constant yet very gradual progress. The combination of stillness within and determination without are the essence of this process. Good things can sprout quickly, but the truly delightful take much longer, like a beautiful tree on a mountainside.
You can’t expect to have everything all at once. Development must be free to take its course; events must neither be rushed nor manipulated, but allowed to unfold in their own natural time. In this way, you will achieve and enjoy long-lasting relationships, as well as success in the world.
