I had an uneventful drive down, left Dave in charge of feeding the kitty cats. He's good.
The show Friday was pretty great. The opening act was very droning, an electric zaz, a stringed instrument like a bouzouki, accompanied by more-or-less a regular rock drum beat. Dave was injecting classic rocks lyrics into their cavernous empty space,

LIVING ON SUNDAES!
I see my Mary-Anne walking away.......

I'm sitting in my brother's breakfast nook, its only 9:30 pm, I wish there was something more to do here, other than just walk the dog around the hood a few more times......
Tomorrow I'll hang around here until the morning commuter traffic trails off a bit, then drive down to L.A.
