Barn Party in Coburg: Davy Jonesers sounded crappy because bass player would not adjust his volume, (turn down, fool.) I'd missed the earlier music cause I got off work at 10:30. Bomb Pots brought a ton of young punk rockers, and cause it was a camp out/sleepover there were plenty of street-punk types. We had a decent crowd and folks swung from the hay pulley ropes, the property was a complete 'boat wreck' as Charly called it. trash strewn about, abandoned RV's and whatnot. Apparently, there was a lot of acid going around, and lots of the folks were dosing. Great place to be with a sober rhythm section.
After our set, I spoke with the owner, he was drinking Oakshire beer from the keg, out of a mason jar. Forgot his name, but he said David Cassidy (Partridge Family!) lives 'right up above us' on the hill and that he could hear every note of the muzak hap'nin.
