Hi Everybody!
I'm working at the Shuemack Broom Shop
(This has been implied throughout, but it does deserve note.)
I still have my relief position at Sheltercare, but I'm working 30-40 hours a week at the broom shop.
Sam has been their sales person for ages, and she lives at my house part-time, since she's here with Dave pretty often.
The Davy Jones Locker Combo played a great show last night at Old NIck's. The other groups were Titty Babies and the Latter Day Skanks and The Critical Shakes. DJLC played all of our goofiest material, mostly punk. We did two new covers, from Bad Religion, "Fuck Armageddon, this is Hell" and the Aquabats' 'This Is My Personal Property'.
I may have mentioned, my son got married at the beginning of the summer. His wife plays in this band: Girls Punch Bears.

I'm very proud and happy about all of that.
My daughter turns 17 next week. She and her mom will be down this weekend, and we will have a brunch. Santina wants to leave her brick-and-mortar school and take classes online. I'm concerned that she is depressed (like me) or fearful that her seizure condition could cause her embarrassment. She's missed a lot of school, and I wish they would all get into some counseling right away, but her mother has always been resistant to that. .......heavy sigh :/
I'm enjoying the work at the broom shop, and Samantha believes that Thurman may be grooming me to take over managing the shop, so that he can concentrate more on sales.
