weekend, not yet over
Mar. 17th, 2013 02:55 pmwell, Monday I went to Flogging Molly with John Cain (vocalist from Pirate Radio) hung out with Nathen and some of the road crew after the shoe.
worked a couple short daytime shifts at Safe Haven, in Glenwood!
Friday I played a short set with Dwight Dickinson, 'the world's only straight male left in the world' at a Hoedown at Mayhem Ranch. Bumped into many music pals there, Chris Leland, Joel Kenney, Zach Tenant, saw a little bit of a fight... ?
Last night (Saturday) played with Dwight again at Tiny Tavern, I must say it sounded pretty damn good! Then ran over to Luckey's and did a show with The Soothesayers, who opened up for Northwest punk legends PIERCED ARROWS (Fred and Toody from Dead Moon,) sounds like I'm name-dropping... ?
nice weather now, time to garden and maybe get down to the TOAD IN THE HOLE show tonight, also try to see PIRATE RADIO at Black Forest.
