bad news everyone
Jan. 27th, 2008 09:57 amSamantha got really sick last night, shortly before our show at DTL and we had to cancel. She probly has a kidney stone, and had to go to urgent care.
Jen wasn't gona play the show with us last night, because she was taking part in the fundraiser for the flat track furies (aka 'Church of Sk8in ') , her roll derby team.
So me and Tim went to John Hnery's to the benefit and saw Sawyer Family who put on a great show of gothabilly, country punk, and a little western swing. I left before the burlesque show (what was I thinking?) at about 1.
driving home, the rain was turning to ice and now, its smowing heavier than we've seen here in a few years. when I got home, I found my kitty, Jack anxious to get in out of the cold, and used that time as a goodwill ambassador to get him used to his little sister, Waffles- our bagel dog (1/2 beagle, 1/2 basset hound). Jackie is gradually learning to tolerate her.
Santina is now cruching numbers on her Barbie &trade laptop‼
on a happier note, Miss Nuxie got me my birthday present:
a suzuki humming tremolo harp.
