bumped into Mr. Sean Goblinkoat the Soothesayersprotest/benefit rock concert thingy Sunday at
Sam Bond's Garagein the historic Whiteaker district of our fair city,
being one of the least Politically Correct people I know, I didn't really expect to see him there, hugging trees and whatnot, but I'd love it if he'd do up a flyer or maybe some artwork for an upcoming CD or some shite.
I felt that The show was not one of our best outputs, but I heard some heart felt compliments and was glad to hear it... The Mex Pistols stole the show, with their complete and total nonchalance, plus being the only all instrumental group, and only in a trio formation, they had a stripped down elegance...
The show's 'opener' was Hot For Chocolate- one of the best performances of theirs I've ever seen, despite the new drummer, Chris Ross's vocals were more clear and confident than I've ever heard, even with a short set. (new drummer, like I said, but he played great)
my work has taken an interesting turn, I'm no longer filling in for absentee processors, but have a full time processor gig myself now, complete with all the sharp deadlines and needy, talkative borrowers and all the appraisals are coming in far below what people are expecting... DON'T YOU PEOPLE READ THE NEWS?! oh, for the love....

go ahead, hug a tree:
