KWAX has been playing BRAHMS on their morning show, ('exploring music?')
anyway, the 'encore' was Hungarian Dance #5. God, I've loved that piece since I was a kid. That kind of 'Gypsy theme' is what I'm trying to steer the Soothsayers toward- Hungarian Minor scales, Harmonic Minor, tossed with a little Latin Flavor and Acid Jazz.

The movie was based on the 'American' versions of the book, which has one less chapter.

And Nadsat slang was one of the things that got me interested in learning Russian.
