"He calmly lifts his bow and picks off a falcon atop a distant tower.
Such prowess breaks the spirit of his challengers.
Nothing but good fortune from this point."
of course, I would never shoot a bird! but the imagery is pretty awesome!
it continues:
"He kills three foxes in the hunt and wins the golden arrow.
Great fortune if you follow this course."
and finally:
Eclipsing the Light
Warmth and Light are swallowed by Deep Darkness:
The Superior Person shows his brilliance by keeping it veiled among the masses.
Stay true to your course, despite the visible obstacles ahead.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
This time calls for a saintly effort to turn the other cheek.
You have been deliberately injured.
Going blow-for-blow will only escalate this war.
Abstain from vengeance.
Show all watching that you are above it.
Sidestep your aggressor's headlong charge, giving him the opportunity to fall on his face.
Hello, my Lovelies, thanks again, and as always for finding me here.
I hope and pray that you are doing well, fighting and thriving, in whatever ways you are able.
Times are tough all over. The sun still shines, and spring is throbbing, covered in cat hair and pollen, swarming with meat bees and other cut-throat arthropods and lewd ectognathoids. USA is still #1 by a ridiculous margin, proof that we are indeed 'great again' And that is in spite of the limited and/or unreliable testing.
once again, a 21st century lynching has been caught on tape, and once again, the perpetrators (including an 'off-duty' cop) would have gotten away scott free, had not there been civilians present with a camera, sadly, I could be talking about a number of different incidents in the recent past.
I hate the racist system we live in.
I'm lucky to be employed at a place where social distancing is not a huge issue for us. The Broom Shop is still operating, in fact, experiencing a bit of a boom, based on increased web sales. A broom boom.
Some concerts are being rescheduled, Bikini Kill was pushed to September, but it doesn't look like Portland is on track to be through phase three by that time. and the Decemberists show, that was to be in August, has been rescheduled for summer 2021.
I'm worried that the election will be an ugly catastrophe.....
but
We will get through this.

I'm doing yoga
and riding my bicycle again....
