OK... so JP and I started Muay Thai this past November. Its got all the grit of boxing, mixed with a respectful little bow, accompanied by 'praying hands' ... called a 'wai'
and the kicking
every martial art claims that they're the best and there's no comparison but theres a saying
"its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of fight in the dog"
which means that size doesn't mean everything, but also that the characteristics of the individual mean more than whether you're doing Karate, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga or Jeet Kune Do.
so its important for me to keep training in Shotokan while I'm studying and learning the new art.
Anyhow, i got served a fat slice of humble pie last night.
