Left Nostril Quiet Time
Dec. 15th, 2009 08:45 pmslice up and light broil some 'ARTISAN' Rosemary Bread
take a clove of garlic (or 3 if you're like me) and crush it onto a pasta place, shallow bowl or a plate with larger than average concave
pour a generous amount of balsamic vinegar RIGHT OVER the freshly crushed garlic
pour a little smaller amount of olive oil over the garlic
shprinkle some grated ramano if you like,
fresh ground pepper to taste
or garnish with some fresh rosemary
serve with some sliced pears, smoked gouda, and Dubliner shite cheddar, mean WHITE cheddar
suggest this be enjoyed with some Oakshire 'Overcast' Espresso Stout. (http://oakbrew.com/) or just some filtered water at slightly below room temperature
