Burger Boogaloo July 1st and 2nd , 2017
I have some new mutual followers, WELCOME, I'd been using LiveJournal. i started with DeadJournal! I migrated to Dream width recently, and brought over all my old journal entries...
I warned you I was going to Burger Boogaloo!
James and Dylan and I drove to Tim's place in Berkeley.
We went to this event, hosted by John Waters
There was great food and great music, including Shannon and the Clams, Redd Kross, X, The Buzzcocks, and Iggy Pop!
Then James and I drove to L.A. for my sisters birthday July 3rd
James joined up with his mom and sister and they went to Vegas.
I hung out in Redondo for a few days, then drove back to Eugene
The Indiscretions played the Whiteaker Block Party Saturday August 5th, that will have to be a separate post!
the annual Tenmile Campout and rock fest happens over the weekend of the 18-21, near the town of Yachats on the Oregon Coast, we get an extra day this year for the solar eclipse! I'll be playing in two acts, Davy Jones Locker Combo on Saturday, and Le Petit Mort on Sunday.
Last Year Scot didn't join us, so Davy Jonesers had no drummer, we played as a duo, not as much fun.
I'll be down in L.A. August 26th for 'It's Not Dead' Festival, featuring Rancid and Dropkick Murphys, then August 27th is my Mom's 80th birthday party!

well it was a LOT of driving
but they'll be doing it again next year! I think this was their second year. Traci Lords was co-host last year, and music included King Khan (one of my faves), the Mummies (literally back from the dead!) and the trash women!
It was at Mosswood Park in Oakland. 2 stages, lots of vendors. the only big drawback I saw was they don't allow you to leave the gig once you're in, unless you pay an extra $75! But I think the VIP people got a lot for their money.....
