This originally comes from a series of evangelical Christian videos that talk about the "evils of non-christianity" or something like that. There is a whole series that talks about various things like Catholicism and Satanism and, of course, Mormonism.

Some friends and I rented the whole series from this Christian book store about 10 years ago. Seeing this cartoon in one of them was pretty amazing at the time. We must have rewound and watched it 4 or 5 times.

then I wonder how much of it is accurate

as if I really care, just the part about Africans and Native Americans is really disturbing. They seem to make a big deal about 'welcoming' all races, well of course they do, they're supposed to tithe 10% of their income.

I'm anxious to see the Matt & Trey movie.

This video is essentially an accurate portrayal of Mormonism. I mean, the storytelling style is meant to be derogatory and to make Mormonism look exceedingly crazy, but it's pretty much accurate.

The stuff about Africans is true. Though it's not really much crazier than what regular Christians used to believe with the whole "curse of ham" stuff. The Mormons have softened the racial stuff and openly allow Blacks into the church now, as of maybe the 50's or so. Maybe later.

Also, all of that Native American stuff is pretty much the basics of Mormonism too. It's all be softened and toned down now though.

A couple years ago I went crazy researching Mormonism, watching interviews and fictional and documentary films. I actually invited some missionaries over to my parents house once, which freaked my them out, but I found the interaction interesting. There's this one documentary I really want to see called 'Banking on Heaven' but have not been able to find to watch online. If you know where to find it streaming, share the link!
