sorry, but:
this event makes me REALLY emotional, as I've been/ and people I love ahve been profoundly affected by HIV/AIDS, in these times when there is WAR, famine, and environmental devastation, it may be too easy to momentarily forget what a devastating disease this has been which so affects all types of people across the globe. I thank the universe that some people are SO COURAGEOUS and OUTRAGEOUS that they will NOT surrender without a momentous, Herculean FIGHT!
i did the AIDS ride in 1999 with my dad! and was amazed and privileged that he was able to ride with me again in 2008 on what is now called the AIDS/Lifecycle.... 550 miles, y'all!
I'd encourage EVERYONE to DO THIS RIDE, raise $$ to fight AIDS, fight prejudice, and love freedom. Live life, Love life, Be free, Be yourself.
